The Great Belt Coast has one of Denmark’s most beautiful coast­li­nes. From north to south, you will find lovely beaches with fine sandy seafloors and clear water. Meanwhile, on the other side, you can hear the roar of the North Sea. The nature, which is made up of heaths, plan­ta­tions, forest areas and dunes, is ideal for exploring on foot or by bike, but you can also seek out adventure at sea in a canoe or kayak. Finally, visit the at­mosp­he­ric and charming summer town of Søndervig, just a stone’s throw away.

Northern Funen is home to the oldest market town on Funen, Bogense, offering the best views of the Kattegat. In the charming town centre, you will find small, well-preserved houses scattered around in the old, narrow and winding streets. Here you can see the historic Sankt Nikolaj Church and enjoy the lovely merchant square where you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the weekly market day with flower, fruit and vegetable stalls. Bogense also features various specialty shops and re­stau­rants.
