Tårup Strand is a summer land area on the eastern coast of Funen, sur­ro­un­ded by a hillscape and over­look­ing the clear water of the Great Belt. You will see that the beach in the area changes character the further up the coast you go. The first part of the beach consists of a stone bed and it has a bathing jetty while 1 km further up the coast, you are met by a fine sandy beach offering the op­portu­ni­ty to play in the water and sunbathe. Take a long swim in the blue sea or laze in the sun all day long. The choice is yours.

The scenic sur­ro­un­dings of Ring­kø­bing Fjord create a par­ti­cu­lar­ly lively at­mosp­he­re, which is perfect for an en­chan­ting stay in a holiday home by the water. Along the fjord, you will find beautiful hiking and cycling routes, cosy re­stau­rants for lunch al fresco, and lots of little rocky coves where you can go fishing. The fjord is also ideal for surfing, sailing or trying out other types of water sports. For the youngest family members, there are several fun and safe play­gro­unds to enjoy and explore. And don’t forget to try out the many cosy re­stau­rants in Skaven to enjoy the local cuisine and at­mosp­he­re.

Virksund by the Limfjord is full of charm with its maritime history and scenic sur­ro­un­dings. This former Viking sett­le­ment is perfect for modern ad­ven­tu­rers who can catch crab, enjoy the food at the harbour café, and/or swim in the clear, re­fres­hing waters. The area is rich in history and offers acti­vi­ties such as sailing in the protected fjord and fishing in both the fjord and the sur­ro­un­ding rivers. Virksund, with its marina and natural beauty, is an ideal place for both re­laxa­tion and adventure.

Spend your holiday in the heart of Vejlby Klit, where you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce a wonderful mix of nature and lively local urban life. For example, climb the highest dune, where you’ll be rewarded with bre­ath­taking views of the scenic area – which is also a great spot for an evening walk or a cosy picnic. In the town centre, you’ll find eve­ryt­hing the heart desires when it comes to local shops and eateries, and during the high season there is live music and barbecues several times a week.
