Saksild Strand is a popular holiday home area just outside the town of Saksild. The area is par­ti­cu­lar­ly well-known for its beautiful beach of the same name. Indeed, the beach is actually referred to as one of East Jutland’s best beaches. Here there is white sand and calm waters without large waves and un­dercur­rents. And of course, the beach has also been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion for such fine swimming con­di­tions. In and around the holiday home area you will find several good eateries and a nearby ice cream house known for its great ice cream. From Saksild Strand you have a 20-minute drive to Aarhus, while you can get to Odder in 10 minutes.

In Sjællands Odde you will find unique nature and an authentic harbour en­viron­ment. Take a trip to Odden Harbour, where the air is full of the smell of freshly smoked fish from the iconic smo­ke­hou­se designed by Arne Jacobsen, while enjoying the sight of fishing boats and fresh fish. Organic farm shops offer local de­li­ca­cies, while Ørnberg Vin creates award-winning white wines. Enjoy a stroll on the pier to feel refreshed by the sea spray and see yachts, or take a bike ride out to Gniben to ex­pe­ri­en­ce pristine nature and military history. Also remember to visit Brøns Odde, a shipwreck from 1948, which is about 80 metres from the coast.

Spend your holiday home break at one of Møn’s best beaches, known for its fine sand and shallow, clear family-friendly waters. Enjoy days of re­laxa­tion, swimming, sun­bat­hing and strolling along the water. Ulvshale offers fantastic nature and rich wildlife. You might see rare birds and wild orchids in the nearby forests and wetlands. Follow the beautiful trails around the landscape on foot or by bike, or hop in a kayak and explore the coastline from the water. You can also visit charming Nyord, which is located just off Ulvshale Strand and offers a true island at­mosp­he­re.
