When ho­li­daying in a summer cottage at Fyns Hoved, you will be close to the specta­cu­lar nature of Funen. The area is a draw for nature ent­hu­si­asts wanting to explore the special wildlife and flora that is unfolding here on the most northern tip of Hindsholm. Øster Hurup offers a genuine holiday at­mosp­he­re. Here you have a child-friendly beach with ample op­portu­ni­ties for splashing around in water and sports acti­vi­ties such as kayaking, paddling and sailing. And if that was not enough, the town also has a cosy harbour where you can eat lunch, get ice cream or just enjoy the view. Espe­ci­al­ly in the summer, the area is buzzing with life when the townspe­op­le and ho­li­day­ma­kers meet at various events in the cosy streets and alleys. Here you have musical bits and car rallies, among other things, on the agenda. From Øster Hurup, you are also within short distance of Aalborg and Aarhus and here you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the buzzing city life.

Col­loqui­al­ly, Saltum is known as the “Alps of Jam­mer­bug­ten” and not without reason! With the open spaces and luxuriant green fields, Saltum stands out from the other areas in the holiday landscape. If you are lucky, you may even see grazing animals on the hills – like a scene from All Creatures Great and Small. The town of Saltum is espe­ci­al­ly popular for its long-standing tradition of handmade arts and craft in textile and ceramics.
