Spend your holiday in the tranquil forest with the chirping of songbirds and the scent of conifers. Enjoy walks in Asserbo Plan­ta­tion, where the trees stand tall and proud and create an amazing at­mosp­he­re. Here you will also find heaths and areas covered in heather, and many good hiking and cycling paths that weave their way through this varied landscape. At the end of the plan­ta­tion, where the forest thins and the dunes begin, you will find the lovely Liseleje Beach. This part of the beach is secluded and peaceful. The town of Liseleje is also a stone’s throw away, with cosy eateries, shops and urban life.

When ho­li­daying in Skiveren, you will be surround by beautiful, protected nature and gorgeous co­un­trysi­de. The most beautiful beach in Northern Jutland, you will find just around the corner, and here you can enjoy the sun to the sound of the roaring waves while burying your feet in the fine white sand. Just a stone’s throw from Skiveren, you have Tversted Plantage (plan­ta­tion). Among other things, you will find three marked trails, a large natural play­gro­und, a lunch box house and a number of barbecue spots. Explore the oldest dune plan­ta­tion in Northern Jutland but do not forget your packed lunch or your best walking shoes and treat yourself to an extra­or­di­nary ex­pe­ri­en­ce.

Col­loqui­al­ly, Mariager Fjord is known as the most beautiful fjord in Denmark and maybe not without reason. Here you can let yourself be fa­sci­na­ted by the glassy water, the luxuriant forests and open co­un­trysi­de. You can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the fjord from the water by hiring a kayak or going on a guided sail. And if you are into hiking, you can find various green trails to explore. Mariager is known as the “Town of Roses” as it is adorned with a wide range of roses planted in the streets and alleys in the town. In and around Mariager, you will find a number of museums and cultural-hi­sto­ri­cal at­tra­ctions, all of which bear witness to the history of the area.
