Explore local places, like Fanefjord Skov, for lovely cycling and hiking routes that go along the coast past some of the island’s beautiful sandy beaches. You might get lucky and find ancient remains like fossils and rare stones. The area is also known for its historic buildings and memorials, such as the old church with its specta­cu­lar frescoes, which attracts visitors from near and far.
