Centrally located on Langeland, you will find the charming village Tranekær – a place with a lot of history. Tranekær is espe­ci­al­ly famous for Tranekær Castle and the castle park, TICKON – Tranekær In­ter­na­tio­nal Centre for Art and Nature where you can see works of art build from organic materials. The castle park is worth a visit re­gard­less the time of year. The charming village is sur­ro­un­ded by forests and coast­li­nes, the perfect in­vi­ta­tion to go cycling and hiking. While out, you may come across Tranekær Castle Mill that bear witness to the rich history of the area and the agri­cul­tu­ral tra­di­tions of Langeland.
