In Rørvig, you can go on lovely hikes around Korshage, where you will see migratory birds or ex­pe­ri­en­ce the heath in full bloom. The coastline is perfect for fishing and offers protected places like Skan­se­bug­ten for windsur­fing and kayaking. You can also explore Højsandet and Sand­flugts­plan­ta­gen, or collect mushrooms and wild garlic in the local forests.

Located on the southern tip of Langeland, the pleasant holiday village of Bagenkop is home to one of the best beaches on the island where you can soak up the sun and swim in the clear water. Pre­vious­ly, Bagenkop was a busy ferry town and you can still get that feeling when you take a walk along the harbour that overlooks the small well-preserved fishermen cottages. From the quay, you can enjoy the sight of the colourful fishing boats and meet the local fishermen hauling in the catch of the day. You can also put on your hiking boots and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the wild horses grazing at Dovns Klint; and if you are lucky, you might spot a porpoise or two in the green sur­ro­un­dings.

Spend your summer break in a holiday home in Sose, an oasis on the sunshine island. Cliffs rise ma­jesti­cal­ly from the water, forming a dramatic coastline adorned with charming red fishers’ houses. Sose Odde is on a small tongue stret­ching into the water with steep cliffs and wild natural sur­ro­un­dings. The pi­c­tu­resque landscape is great for long walks. Whether you choose to walk on the beach or on top of the cliffs, the expansive views are bre­ath­taking. The cosy, old fishing village of Arnager is close by and worth a visit.
