Tårup Strand is a summer land area on the eastern coast of Funen, sur­ro­un­ded by a hillscape and over­look­ing the clear water of the Great Belt. Here you can take walks along the coast, enjoy the views and the fresh sea air and – if you are lucky – spot ships om their journey through the Great Belt. You will see that the beach in the area changes character the further up the coast you go. The first part of the beach consists of a stone bed and it has a bathing jetty while 1 km further up the coast, you are met by a fine sandy beach offering the op­portu­ni­ty to play in the water and sunbathe. Take a long swim in the blue sea or laze in the sun all day long. The choice is yours.

In Stokkeby, you can enjoy life and find your calm in a small nature oasis. Go exploring on foot or on a bicycle and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the genuine scenic beauty of Ærø. Located in the middle of the island, you are close to a number of the at­tra­ctions of Ærø. 5 km from Stokkeby, you will find Voderup Klint, a large, hilly natural resort offering the most in­cre­dib­le sea views. From Voderup Klint, you get close to the remains of nature from the Ice Age when large blocks of the landscape slid down the cliff and into the sea. Within the same range, you will also find Ærøs­kø­bing and here you can visit the cafés and re­stau­rants in town to sample local de­li­ca­cies.

Skallerup Klit is a true natural gem located at the im­pres­si­ve and roaring North Sea. From the marked hiking trails and cycling tracks in the area, you can explore the sur­ro­un­ding dune plan­ta­tions, forests and coast­li­nes. And you will realise that there is a reason why the area is cha­ra­cte­ri­sed as being one of the natural gems in Denmark. The wide beach at Skallerup Klit is something com­ple­te­ly unique. Sur­ro­un­ded by white dunes and the sound of roaring waves, the Blue Flag is proudly flapping on the beach. And this means that here you will find the perfect setting for sun­bat­hing, splashing in the water and water sports.
