In the middle of Ærø, you will find the village of Tranderup. Tranderup is a charming little village oozing tranqui­li­ty and rural bliss. Sejerø is a 12 km long island in Kattegat. The island is known as Kattegat’s sunshine island – and for good reason. Sejerø is one of the sunniest places in Denmark. Here you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the shoreline. The nature of the island is diverse and offers eve­ryt­hing from beautiful sandy beaches and wide-open spaces to rolling hills and fields. Sejerø is espe­ci­al­ly known for its many burial mounds that date back to the Bronze Age. A total of 30 burial mounds have been di­scove­red on the island, and you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce them via several footpaths that take you around the landscape.

When ho­li­daying in a summer cottage at Fyns Hoved, you will be close to the specta­cu­lar nature of Funen. The area is a draw for nature ent­hu­si­asts wanting to explore the special wildlife and flora that is unfolding here on the most northern tip of Hindsholm. From the top of Fyns Hoved, you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce a fa­sci­nat­ing and con­tra­sted landscape; here you can enjoy the views of calm salt marshes, rolling hills and wa­ter­ho­les while the sea and its wild waves crashes against the cliffs.
