Helnæs is a genuine little gem in the South Funen Ar­chipela­go. The peninsula is connected to the mainland via a natural dam and it is close to both the port town of Assens and the market town of Faaborg. When driving across the dam to the small peninsula, you will feel embraced by the out­stan­ding nature. This is where you will find Bro­bak­ker­ne, a large em­bank­ment formed back in the Ice Age and in summer, it is covered with the finest summer flowers. On the east-facing side of Rømø is cosy Lakolk, which is the oldest holiday home area on the island. Lakolk is located close to Rømø Bilstrand, where you can take the car all the way down to the water's edge. This way, you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the entire mile-long coastline, in­cre­dib­le plains and beautiful views. Finally, the area is ideal for biking – and hiking, or you can explore it on horseback or surfboard.

The scenic sur­ro­un­dings of Ring­kø­bing Fjord create a par­ti­cu­lar­ly lively at­mosp­he­re, which is perfect for an en­chan­ting stay in a holiday home by the water. Along the fjord, you will find beautiful hiking and cycling routes, cosy re­stau­rants for lunch al fresco, and lots of little rocky coves where you can go fishing. The fjord is also ideal for surfing, sailing or trying out other types of water sports. For the youngest family members, there are several fun and safe play­gro­unds to enjoy and explore. And don’t forget to try out the many cosy re­stau­rants in Skaven to enjoy the local cuisine and at­mosp­he­re.

Gjel­lero­d­de is marked by the Ice Age, featuring fa­sci­nat­ing and varied natural sur­ro­un­dings between the North Sea and the Limfjord. You will find a child-friendly pebbled beach, which is also ideal for windsur­fing and sailing.
