The nature of the island is diverse and offers eve­ryt­hing from beautiful sandy beaches and wide-open spaces to rolling hills and fields. Sejerø is espe­ci­al­ly known for its many burial mounds that date back to the Bronze Age. A total of 30 burial mounds have been di­scove­red on the island, and you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce them via several footpaths that take you around the landscape.

In the middle of Thy National Park, you will find the village of Stenbjerg. Its specta­cu­lar dune landsca­pes and wild moors make Stenbjerg a perfect holiday desti­na­tion for those who love to go exploring on foot or on a bicycle. Here you can enjoy the wide pristine beaches with room for re­laxa­tion and wild surfing ad­ven­tu­res by the North Sea. The area is known for its well-preserved fishing villages and the historic Stenbjerg Lan­dings­plads where the fishing boats are hauled up on land as they were before the beginning of time.
