Near Mid­del­fart, you have the small village of Føns. The locals know Føns as the natural gem of western Funen. And not unju­sti­fied. On one of the most beautiful coasts in Denmark, north of Mid­del­fart, you will find the summer land area of Vejlby Fed. Near Vejlby Fed, you have some of the best beaches in the area – ideal for sun­bat­hing, splashing around and water sports. The nature in the area is something quite unique, with its steep sho­re­li­nes, dense beech forests and open coves. These sur­ro­un­dings are an in­vi­ta­tion to long walks, expl­ora­tion on a bicycle as well as relaxing and tranquil fishing. From Vejlby Fed, you can drive to Mid­del­fart in under 20 minutes. Go on an excursion to the historic town, featuring old well-preserved buildings, local shops, art galleries and a number of cafés and eateries.

When ho­li­daying in a holiday home in Als Odde, you can explore the Danish nature on land and at sea. You can go for walks along the banks of the fjord, explore the forested trails or find your tranqui­li­ty in a kayak on the calm water. You will find all of this just outside your cottage door. If you want a break from the sur­ro­un­dings full of nature, you can spend some time delving into the history and cultural heritage of Northern Jutland. Near Als Odde and its environs, you will find various culture-hi­sto­ri­cal at­tra­ctions where you can learn about the history of Northern Jutland going all the way back to the Viking Age and up until today.
