Saksild Strand is a popular holiday home area just outside the town of Saksild. The area is par­ti­cu­lar­ly well-known for its beautiful beach of the same name. As a quiet and idyllic haven, Lodberg Hede is located between Stadil Fjord, West Stadil Fjord and the North Sea, The en­viron­ment around the fjords, with small natural harbours, jetties and fire pits creates a special at­mosp­he­re. Meanwhile, on the other side, you can hear the roar of the North Sea. The nature, which is made up of heaths, plan­ta­tions, forest areas and dunes, is ideal for exploring on foot or by bike, but you can also seek out adventure at sea in a canoe or kayak. Finally, visit the at­mosp­he­ric and charming summer town of Søndervig, just a stone’s throw away.

Skallerup Klit is a true natural gem located at the im­pres­si­ve and roaring North Sea. From the marked hiking trails and cycling tracks in the area, you can explore the sur­ro­un­ding dune plan­ta­tions, forests and coast­li­nes. And you will realise that there is a reason why the area is cha­ra­cte­ri­sed as being one of the natural gems in Denmark. The wide beach at Skallerup Klit is something com­ple­te­ly unique. Sur­ro­un­ded by white dunes and the sound of roaring waves, the Blue Flag is proudly flapping on the beach. And this means that here you will find the perfect setting for sun­bat­hing, splashing in the water and water sports.
