Gudhjem has eve­ryt­hing you need for a lovely, versatile holiday in beautiful sur­ro­un­dings. The town offers shops, bars, and eateries, but you will also find a smo­ke­hou­se, delis, glas­swor­ks, museums, and more. The port of Gudhjem exudes an authentic fishing at­mosp­he­re with houses, yachts, and fishing boats of all sizes. Many sailors spend their summer holiday here. A beautiful old church overlooks the rooftops of Gudhjem and the ships’ masts. From here, you can see the island of Chri­sti­an­sø in the distance, which you can explore if you hop on the tour boat that departs from the wharf.

In the southern part of Rømø, you will find Havneby, a holiday paradise sur­ro­un­ded by mag­ni­fi­cent nature. Here you can go sailing on the Wadden Sea or explore the coastal areas on foot, horseback or by bike. There are plenty of lovely trails and routes to explore the fa­sci­nat­ing terrain and enjoy beautiful views. The harbour is a testament to proud fishing tra­di­tions, and here you will see im­pres­si­ve boats swaying and waiting for the next departure. You can also grab a bite to eat at the inn or one of the other eateries to get an authentic taste of Rømø – for example, after a game of tennis or an afternoon of golf.

Løgstør, the city of mussels, with its tranqui­li­ty and natural beauty, offers a unique maritime at­mosp­he­re and is the centre of cultural hig­hlights such as KanalJazz, which brings music, festi­vi­ties and community to the harbour. Famous for its mussels, the city is host to The Harvest of Mussels Festival and the Mussels Festival, which kick-start this year’s festi­vi­ties. You can also try out a seal safari from Livø­fer­gen, relax on the car-free island of Livø, or if you want to shop, visit Løgstør, which is a short 10-minute drive from the holiday homes at Lendrup and Rønbjerg. The area is also a mecca for golfers with many golf courses within a short distance.
