Skallerup Klit is a true natural gem located at the im­pres­si­ve and roaring North Sea. The medieval town of Stege, Møn’s largest city, is the perfect setting for a diverse holiday home break filled with history and culture – in addition, Møn’s specta­cu­lar natural areas are close by. Stege is a trading town in the tra­di­tio­nal sense, with an active port and a vibrant city centre. The cobbled streets and colourful buildings create a charming backdrop, and the old castle ruin, beautiful church and well-preserved medieval castle gate make the city something quite special. Don’t miss out on a trip to Møns Klint, and Stege Nor, a shallow coastal lagoon that runs out into Stege Bay.

In the middle of the Eastern Funen, you will find the small town of Marslev oozing genuine village bliss. The area is sur­ro­un­ded by luxuriant fields, small forests and open co­un­trysi­de. In Marslev, you can delve into the charm of the small local community, explore the nearby establis­hed nature trails or visit the historic churches in the area. For example, you can visit the village church in the town dating back to the Middle Ages and known for its many ar­chi­tec­tu­ral details. The me­tro­po­lis on Funen, Odense, is just under 10 km away so you have all the at­tra­ctions of the city within reach.

Near Mid­del­fart, you have the small village of Føns. The locals know Føns as the natural gem of western Funen. And not unju­sti­fied. Here you are gu­a­ran­te­ed forests and green scenery, a rich bird life and the most wonderful beach right outside your cottage door. In this small village, there is also ample op­portu­ni­ty to go hiking outdoors. And if you are into bird watching, Føns is the perfect holiday desti­na­tion as you will find several bird species all in one place. Føns is known for its excellent beach at Føns Vig. Here you will find a sand bed and shallow water – and of course, the beach is a Blue Flag beach.
