Nykøbing Sjælland, the charming market town on the coast of Odsherred, offers a wonderful mix of cultural acti­vi­ties and nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces. Nykøbing Sjælland is known for its wealth of shopping options with lots of locally produced spe­ci­al­ties and cosy cafés that make the city ideal for an excursion while on holiday. Ærøs­kø­bing is known as the pearl of Ærø and it is one of the best preserved market towns in Denmark. The winding streets, colourful houses and fine history of the town attract visitors from near and far. As you walk around the cobbled streets in the town, you will quickly find yourself back in time. Here you can enjoy the sights and be fa­sci­na­ted by the many old and well-preserved buildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. In the town, you can visit local shops, take part in artisan markets and take a well-deserved break in one of several homely cafés, maybe sampling local de­li­ca­cies.

In Mosebølle, north of Præstø Fjord, a holiday home awaits in scenic sur­ro­un­dings with lots of peace and quiet for con­tem­p­la­tion. With the fjord and the Faxe Bay nearby, you are sur­ro­un­ded by water and cosy nooks – perfect for outings on foot or by bike. You will find a wealth of scenic routes to explore the landscape and reveal beautiful views. Faxe Kalkbrud is close by, and with its fa­sci­nat­ing colours and shapes it is de­fi­ni­te­ly worth a visit. The area also has old churches, estates, manors and historic half-timbered houses, which give it a lively at­mosp­he­re.
