Welcoming holiday homes in Denmark

Bønnerup Strand is a small fishing village on Djursland and a popular holiday desti­na­tion. Here you will find a wide sandy beach with shallow waters - ideal for water sports for the ad­ven­tu­rous, and clamshell hunting for the young ones. Among the locals, the beach is actually known as Djursland’s best, and of course it is also Blue Flag-certified. In the sum­mer­ti­me, the town’s harbour is a well-known gathering place for locals and the area’s many ho­li­day­ma­kers, and there are acti­vi­ties for both young and old. At the harbour you will also find local shops and eateries.

Saksild Strand is a popular holiday home area just outside the town of Saksild. The area is par­ti­cu­lar­ly well-known for its beautiful beach of the same name. Indeed, the beach is actually referred to as one of East Jutland’s best beaches. Here there is white sand and calm waters without large waves and un­dercur­rents. And of course, the beach has also been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion for such fine swimming con­di­tions. In and around the holiday home area you will find several good eateries and a nearby ice cream house known for its great ice cream. From Saksild Strand you have a 20-minute drive to Aarhus, while you can get to Odder in 10 minutes.

Blokhus is one of the most beloved holiday desti­na­tions in Denmark. With its famous sandy beach, dune landsca­pes and cosy town centre, a gathering point for ho­li­day­ma­kers and the local residents, the popular coastal town is enticing. The area is also known for Skul­p­tur­par­ken Blokhus where art and nature fuse in an open-air exhi­bi­tion of wooden scul­p­tu­res. And if culture and hi­sto­ri­cal at­tra­ctions are your thing, you will find Hune Church – not far from the town centre. The church is known for its beautiful, well-preserved frescos, among other things, and it is one of the cultural treasures in Denmark located in Northern Jutland.
