Bornholm_Allinge

Allinge

On the north coast, the landscape is dramatic, and the views are breathtaking—Allinge is no exception. The town borders the fascinating area around Hammeren, offering some of Denmark’s most spectacular natural environments. Allinge harbour is a gathering point with a great atmosphere offering cafés, ice cream shops, eateries, and shops. The town is characterised by half-timbered houses in every colour, narrow streets, and cosy squares. You can explore small, cosy oases. Allinge also offers art and culture in various forms and is home to venues, creative workshops, and the annual jazz festival.
Svaneke bymidte på Bornholm

Svaneke

Beautiful Svaneke offers a plethora of wonderful holiday experiences. The town is bursting with exciting speciality shops, including the famous brewery, the dairy store, hard candy maker, chocolate shop, glassblowers, galleries, and smokehouse. There is plenty to explore here and many local food experiences to savour. Svaneke is buzzing with life, and both the harbour and the town centre are popular gathering points with great ambience. Moving just outside the town centre, in either direction, reveals stunning views of dramatic cliff formations, adorable houses, and cosy little beaches.

Præstø

Spend your holiday home break in the old town of Præstø, and experience nature, culture and history all in one place. The city boasts cobbled streets and coloured houses with an idyllic location overlooking the Præstø Fjord. In the harbour, you will find an authentic maritime atmosphere as you stroll along the pier. In the summer, the city transforms itself with markets, music and art festivals, but there is plenty of life and activities all year round. Visit, for example, the beautiful, majestic church or the local museum, where you can delve into the storied history of the area.

Søby

Søby is the most northern town on Ærø, originally serving as an old shipyard and ferry town and this also manifests itself in the small streets and alleys of the town oozing maritime atmosphere. From the harbour, you can see the local life unfold and how the ferry departures contribute to the life and the constant buzzing on the harbour. Søby is particularly known to golf enthusiasts because it is in these parts of the island you will find the most beautiful seaside golf course in Northern Europe. The golf course is located a mere 5 km north of Søby and is nestled in scenic surroundings. From Søby, you can also go hiking and cycling to take in the scenic countryside and coastlines of Ærø.
