Bornholm_Rønne

Rønne

Rønne is the first town you come to when you arrive on lovely Bornholm. Beautiful St Nicholas Church is majestically located in a protruding square upon entry to the harbour, welcoming visitors. The town centre is characterised by narrow cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, and cosy squares. It offers a rich commercial and cultural life, and you will find historic buildings, museums, local arts and crafts, galleries, and more. There is ample opportunity to explore the island’s excellent beaches in all directions. Head south to visit Boderne or wonderful Dueodde—one of Denmark’s best beaches.
Fyn & øer_Ærø_Marstal

Marstal

Marstal is the largest town on Ærø with a proud maritime history which is why the town is also known as “Skipper Town” colloquially. This sense of pride particularly manifests itself in the local town life. The harbour is a well-known gathering place for townspeople and holidaymakers, and the maritime museum is one of the major attractions in the area. Here you can delve into the maritime history of the town and enjoy exhibitions on the shipping trade. The town centre features a lovely shopping street and here you can shop to your heart’s content and sample local delicacies. And a mere stone’s throw from Marstal, you will find Eriks Hale Strand overlooking some of the colourful beach huts on the island.
Møn-Stevns_Sydsjælland_Næs og Skaverup

Næs-Skarverup Strand

Næs and Skaverup are located below Avnø Fjord. Two scenic gems side by side at the water’s edge with stunning views up through the fjord. Take a holiday home break immersed in nature, with diverse wildlife and varied terrain. The landscape is ideal for hiking and cycling through fields, forests and along the beaches. You can also explore the area from the water, for example in a kayak, or see it all from above if you climb the impressive Gåsetårn (Goose Tower). Vordingborg is just a few kilometres away, a city rich in historic buildings, urban life, shops and cultural attractions.
Bornholm_Nexø_Balka

Balka

Balka is located in a small bay on the south coast of Bornholm and is known for its beach. The water is calm, the sand is white, and the curved coastline forms the most beautiful oasis. Immerse yourself in the stunning natural surroundings for a few hours and forget the rest of the world. You can explore the area on foot or by bike. Charming Snogebæk is south of Balka, with shops, eateries, a smokehouse, and a cosy harbour setting. Heading north, you’ll encounter one of the island’s towns, Nexø, where you’ll find historic buildings, museums, cultural landmarks, local arts and crafts, and more.
