Saksild Strand is a popular holiday home area just outside the town of Saksild. The area is par­ti­cu­lar­ly well-known for its beautiful beach of the same name. Indeed, the beach is actually referred to as one of East Jutland’s best beaches. Here there is white sand and calm waters without large waves and un­dercur­rents. From Saksild Strand you have a 20-minute drive to Aarhus, while you can get to Odder in 10 minutes.

Head to the heart of Blåvand, an ethereal oasis that exudes charm. Browse through the cosy shops or take a break in a café and enjoy the vibe and lively buzz. You can also satisfy your hunger at one of the village’s re­stau­rants or enjoy an ice cream while taking in the landscape. The fa­sci­nat­ing Tirpitz Museum draws you in on the wings of history to give you a clear sense of Blåvand’s unique place in Danish history. You can also visit Blåvand Zoo or take a trip to Blåvands­huk Ligh­t­hou­se and enjoy the bre­ath­taking view of the ocean and mag­ni­fi­cent landscape, which changes character with the changing of the seasons.

Røsnæs is a 5 km long peninsula located on the west coast of Zealand. It is sur­ro­un­ded by fa­sci­nat­ing landsca­pes of open coasts, rolling hilltops and dense forests. You can hike the coastal paths, enjoy the sea views and explore nearby forest areas. Don’t forget to visit Røsnæs Ligh­t­hou­se for panoramic views of land and water. You can also learn more about the history of the area on this small peninsula. Stop by the old, well-preserved mill, Ulstrup Mill, or discover Røsnæs Church, which is located on a hilltop over­look­ing Ka­lund­borg Fjord.

The medieval town of Stege, Møn’s largest city, is the perfect setting for a diverse holiday home break filled with history and culture – in addition, Møn’s specta­cu­lar natural areas are close by. Stege is a trading town in the tra­di­tio­nal sense, with an active port and a vibrant city centre. The cobbled streets and colourful buildings create a charming backdrop, and the old castle ruin, beautiful church and well-preserved medieval castle gate make the city something quite special. Don’t miss out on a trip to Møns Klint, and Stege Nor, a shallow coastal lagoon that runs out into Stege Bay.
