From Egense, you have direct access to the clear and calm waters of the Limfjord. The perfect bathing con­di­tions for families and water ent­hu­si­asts. The area is par­ti­cu­lar­ly known for its child-friendly beach, its shallow water and gentle waves creating safe bathing con­di­tions for the youngest family members. In the area around Egense, you will find various trail systems leading you to luxuriant nature and amazing wildlife. So here you are better off putting on your best hiking boots or jumping on your bicycle. Near Mid­del­fart, you have the small village of Føns. The locals know Føns as the natural gem of western Funen. And not unju­sti­fied.
