Off the east coast of Jutland you will find the islands of Tunø, Endelave and Hjarnø. Tunø and Endelave are known for their scenic sur­ro­un­dings with hiking trails that guide you through varied terrain with dense forests, open landsca­pes and coast­li­nes as far as the eye can see. Here you can explore the local plant and wildlife. Hjarnø is closer to the mainland and is a testament to the Viking Age, when the island was once home to the old Nordic seafarers. Napstjert is known for the sur­ro­un­dings full of nature that you find in these parts of Northern Jutland. Here you can gambol in sur­ro­un­dings filled with wide sandy beaches, heather-covered moors and small woodlands. Espe­ci­al­ly in the moor- and woodlands, you may be lucky to see a deer, a hare or ex­pe­ri­en­ce the rich bird life that is on show here. So go hiking or jump on a bicycle to explore these special natural sur­ro­un­dings. Napstjert is located between Skagen and Fre­de­riks­havn. So you are within re­la­ti­ve­ly short distance of the well-known and pi­c­tu­resque sur­ro­un­dings of Skagen and the maritime history of Fre­de­riks­havn in the streets and alleys in the town.

The scenic sur­ro­un­dings of Ring­kø­bing Fjord create a par­ti­cu­lar­ly lively at­mosp­he­re, which is perfect for an en­chan­ting stay in a holiday home by the water. Along the fjord, you will find beautiful hiking and cycling routes, cosy re­stau­rants for lunch al fresco, and lots of little rocky coves where you can go fishing. The fjord is also ideal for surfing, sailing or trying out other types of water sports. For the youngest family members, there are several fun and safe play­gro­unds to enjoy and explore. And don’t forget to try out the many cosy re­stau­rants in Skaven to enjoy the local cuisine and at­mosp­he­re.
