For one thing, Borgnæs Strand is known to be a par­ti­cu­lar­ly child-friendly beach with its fine sand and clear, shallow water. Around Borgnæs, you will find a number of small villages with old Ærø-style houses and historic sites that bear witness to the history of Ærø.

Hals is known as the smallest market town in Northern Jutland; despite its small size, however, the town oozes of charm and Danish holiday bliss. Near the harbour area, you will find small streets lined with the cha­ra­cte­ri­stic red fishermen’s cottages. Back in the day, they were home to the local fishermen and their families.
