Møn-Stevns_Møn_Stege

Stege

The medieval town of Stege, Møn’s largest city, is the perfect setting for a diverse holiday home break filled with history and culture – in addition, Møn’s spectacular natural areas are close by. Stege is a trading town in the traditional sense, with an active port and a vibrant city centre. The cobbled streets and colourful buildings create a charming backdrop, and the old castle ruin, beautiful church and well-preserved medieval castle gate make the city something quite special. Don’t miss out on a trip to Møns Klint, and Stege Nor, a shallow coastal lagoon that runs out into Stege Bay.

Agersø

Agersø is an island in the Great Belt just 15 minutes by boat from Stigsnæs Harbour located on southwest Zealand. Despite its small size of just 6.84 km2, the island offers stunning nature and a rich wildlife. You can go for long walks – in fact, you can walk all the way around the island – and enjoy the tranquillity of the green surroundings. Only the sound of waves can interrupt your thoughts. The island holds interesting tales, including its role in the English Wars from 1807 to 1814. Explore the island’s historic landmarks and see its many monuments and memorials.

South of Skagen, you will find Kandestederne, surrounded by tranquility and pristine rugged nature. The area is known for its stunning dune landscapes and wide sandy beaches. This also makes Kandestederne the perfect place for long walks and sunbathing. Near Kandestederne, you will find the impressive natural phenomenon Råbjerg Mile, among the largest shifting dunes in Europe which is why it draws Danish and foreign holidaymakers alike. From Kandestederne, you also have direct access to Skiveren Strand, a true paradise for kite surfers and nature enthusiasts. The wide beach is surrounded by dunes and has been awarded the Blue Flag certification.
