Welcoming holiday homes in Denmark

On the east coast of Jutland with a view of Kattegat you will find the holiday home area, As Vig. Located at the very edge of Kattegat, As Vig offers several lovely beaches with fine sand and shallow and calm waters. Here you will find both forests and nature trails where you can go for long walks or ride a bicycle and ex­pe­ri­en­ce this beautiful part of Denmark. From As Vig, it is less than 10 km to the charming seaport of Ju­els­min­de.

In Sjællands Odde you will find unique nature and an authentic harbour en­viron­ment. Take a trip to Odden Harbour, where the air is full of the smell of freshly smoked fish from the iconic smo­ke­hou­se designed by Arne Jacobsen, while enjoying the sight of fishing boats and fresh fish. Organic farm shops offer local de­li­ca­cies, while Ørnberg Vin creates award-winning white wines. Enjoy a stroll on the pier to feel refreshed by the sea spray and see yachts, or take a bike ride out to Gniben to ex­pe­ri­en­ce pristine nature and military history. Also remember to visit Brøns Odde, a shipwreck from 1948, which is about 80 metres from the coast.

The scenic sur­ro­un­dings of Ring­kø­bing Fjord create a par­ti­cu­lar­ly lively at­mosp­he­re, which is perfect for an en­chan­ting stay in a holiday home by the water. Along the fjord, you will find beautiful hiking and cycling routes, cosy re­stau­rants for lunch al fresco, and lots of little rocky coves where you can go fishing. The fjord is also ideal for surfing, sailing or trying out other types of water sports. For the youngest family members, there are several fun and safe play­gro­unds to enjoy and explore. And don’t forget to try out the many cosy re­stau­rants in Skaven to enjoy the local cuisine and at­mosp­he­re.
