Beautiful Sandkås, a small gem on Bornholm’s north coast, is tucked away between the cosy seaports of Allinge and Tejn. You will be better off exploring the area on a bicycle or on foot to find the many hidden trails leading to idyllic natural resorts. Get up close and personal with nature, listen to the buzzing of insects and explore the beautiful flora. Near Bratten, you will find the port town of Strandby where you can see the charming harbour en­viron­ment unfold right in front of you. And with Fre­de­riks­havn just 10 km away, you also have great shopping op­portu­ni­ties, in­te­r­e­sting cultural at­tra­ctions and cosy eateries right at your fin­ger­tips.

Tåsinge is located in the South Funen Ar­chipela­go and is connected to Funen via Svend­borgs­und­bro­en (Svendborg Sound Bridge). On Tåsinge, you can enjoy the beautiful nature of Southern Funen, seaviews and luxuriant woodlands where the trails guide you on your expl­ora­tions of the wildlife and flora of the area. On the southern part of Tåsinge, you have the summer land area of Stenodden. Here times appear to stand still and the quietude is only in­ter­rup­ted by the croaking of the European fire-bellied toads in the distance. Near Stenodden, you will find an extremely child-friendly beach with shallow, calm water. The beach has plenty of room for splashing around in the water, re­laxa­tion as well as canoeing and kayaking all day long.
