Bønnerup Strand is a small fishing village on Djursland and a popular holiday desti­na­tion. Here you will find a wide sandy beach with shallow waters - ideal for water sports for the ad­ven­tu­rous, and clamshell hunting for the young ones. Among the locals, the beach is actually known as Djursland’s best, and of course it is also Blue Flag-certified. On the east coast of Northern Jutland, you will find the village of Hel­ber­skov. The little village is espe­ci­al­ly charming due to its old half-timbered houses and idyllic village at­mosp­he­re. In the area, you will find farm shops nearby where you can buy local spe­ci­a­li­ties and fresh produce. When ho­li­daying in a summer cottage in Hel­ber­skov, you will have beautiful scenery, green areas and beaches at the fjord right outside your door. Nykøbing Sjælland, the charming market town on the coast of Odsherred, offers a wonderful mix of cultural acti­vi­ties and nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces. Nykøbing Sjælland is known for its wealth of shopping options with lots of locally produced spe­ci­al­ties and cosy cafés that make the city ideal for an excursion while on holiday. For the ad­ven­tu­rous, a boat trip with the boat “Marianne F” is a must, and otherwise there is ample op­portu­ni­ty to rent bikes and explore the sur­ro­un­dings. The city’s public swimming pool and cinema provide en­tertain­ment re­gard­less of the weather, and the lively pe­de­stri­an street is perfect for shopping and re­laxa­tion during and in between the high seasons.

Col­loqui­al­ly, Mariager Fjord is known as the most beautiful fjord in Denmark and maybe not without reason. Here you can let yourself be fa­sci­na­ted by the glassy water, the luxuriant forests and open co­un­trysi­de. You can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the fjord from the water by hiring a kayak or going on a guided sail. And if you are into hiking, you can find various green trails to explore. Mariager is known as the “Town of Roses” as it is adorned with a wide range of roses planted in the streets and alleys in the town. In and around Mariager, you will find a number of museums and cultural-hi­sto­ri­cal at­tra­ctions, all of which bear witness to the history of the area.
