When ho­li­daying in a summer cottage at Fyns Hoved, you will be close to the specta­cu­lar nature of Funen. The area is a draw for nature ent­hu­si­asts wanting to explore the special wildlife and flora that is unfolding here on the most northern tip of Hindsholm. Helnæs is a genuine little gem in the South Funen Ar­chipela­go. The peninsula is connected to the mainland via a natural dam and it is close to both the port town of Assens and the market town of Faaborg. When driving across the dam to the small peninsula, you will feel embraced by the out­stan­ding nature. This is where you will find Bro­bak­ker­ne, a large em­bank­ment formed back in the Ice Age and in summer, it is covered with the finest summer flowers. You can also ex­pe­ri­en­ce the specta­cu­lar nature from the water. Jump in a kayak and explore the Little Belt.

In Grærup, you will find yourself in the middle of nature, just a stone’s throw from the roaring tur­bu­len­ce of the North Sea. You can wander along pristine sandy beaches, climb deep dune plan­ta­tions and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the abundant local wildlife. Grærup Langsø is a paradise for anyone who loves hiking or enjoys birdwat­ching. The hiking trails wind through the diverse landscape and take you through forests and into open expanses. There are many beautiful views and plenty to explore. You will also find great cycling routes throug­hout the landscape, enticing you to an active holiday. For water lovers, there is also ample op­portu­ni­ty to try out different types of water sports.
