Welcoming holiday homes in Denmark

Just 15 km south of Aarhus you will find Ajstrup Strand, a natural holiday area near water and natural sur­ro­un­dings. The fine sandy beach in the area is a haven for ho­li­day­ma­kers and locals every summer. Here you will find fine sand, clear water and safe swimming. For these reasons, the beach has been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, which proudly sways in the wind. Close to the area is Norsminde Havn, an extremely charming marina where you can stroll along the pier, enjoy the sight of small fishing boats and visit one of the many cosy eateries. You can get from Ajstrup Strand to Odder in under 20 minutes by car.

On the southern part of Ærø, you will find the small village of Dunkær. Here you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce quiet nature and real rural bliss. The small winding roads are lined by homely cottages side by side, adorning the co­un­trysi­de. And in the town, you will also find Dunkær Mill that bear witness to the history of the village and the active agri­cul­tu­re of former times. Just 4 km from the village, you have Risemark Strand on the southern coast of Ærø for you to enjoy a sandy beach and lapping waves. The beach is extremely child-friendly with its shallow water and it should be noted that the beach has a de­sig­na­ted area for naturists.

The old market town of Aakirkeby is located in the southern part of Bornholm, an ideal location for the island’s beaches. Here, you will find stunning Dueodde with its white, sandy beaches winding as far as the eye can see, but Balka Beach and Boderne also rank among Bornholm’s best beaches. Aakirkeby offers hi­sto­ri­cal buildings, museums, and cultural at­tra­ctions. If you move towards the middle of the island, you will get to Al­min­din­gen, Denmark’s fifth-largest forest. Spend several hours exploring the terrain and the hi­sto­ri­cal and cultural sights here, such as Ryt­ter­k­næg­ten and Ekkodalen.

Beautiful Sandkås, a small gem on Bornholm’s north coast, is tucked away between the cosy seaports of Allinge and Tejn. Nature runs wild on the dramatic, rocky north coast, creating a beautiful setting for a summer break in a holiday home. In Sandkås, you will find small beaches with swimming docks, beautiful rock for­ma­tions, and in­cre­dib­le views. Here, you can easily find an unspoilt spot to spend a few hours. The area is also ideal for exploring on foot or by bike, and you can easily and quickly reach Allinge and Tejn, which offer authentic fishing at­mosp­he­res and charming harbour settings.
