Col­loqui­al­ly, Saltum is known as the “Alps of Jam­mer­bug­ten” and not without reason! Tårup Strand is a summer land area on the eastern coast of Funen, sur­ro­un­ded by a hillscape and over­look­ing the clear water of the Great Belt. Here you can take walks along the coast, enjoy the views and the fresh sea air and – if you are lucky – spot ships om their journey through the Great Belt. You will see that the beach in the area changes character the further up the coast you go. The first part of the beach consists of a stone bed and it has a bathing jetty while 1 km further up the coast, you are met by a fine sandy beach offering the op­portu­ni­ty to play in the water and sunbathe. Take a long swim in the blue sea or laze in the sun all day long. The choice is yours.

Haderslev has a beautiful old town centre with countless shops, re­stau­rants and cafés. A large offering of food ex­pe­ri­en­ces awaits at cosy outdoor eateries on the Market Square, Nørregade, among others. Explore the charming spe­ci­a­li­ty shops, visit Damparken park, or stroll through the Old Town. Situated on Haderslev Fjord, which cuts 15 km into the East Jutland coast, the city is a haven for those who love exploring both on land and at sea and offers plenty of nearby nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces.
