There are several historic churches and buildings nearby, including one of the island’s famous round churches. With several child-friendly sandy beaches stret­ching from Vig Lyng to Stenstrup Lyng, and exciting excur­sions, Sejerø Bugt is known to be a true gem for families with children. Dive into history by visiting the me­ga­lit­hic tomb in Stenstrup, a well-preserved tomb from ancient times, or explore the unique sand reefs of the Korevler, where you might see grazing Galloway cattle. The area also offers wonderful music ex­pe­ri­en­ces and local eateries, espe­ci­al­ly during the summer months. Visit the old charming trading town of Køge, if you want to add some history and culture to your holiday home break, and also the capital, Co­pen­ha­gen, and the cathedral town of Roskilde are within an hour’s drive and are both worth a visit.
