Bønnerup Strand is a small fishing village on Djursland and a popular holiday desti­na­tion. Here you will find a wide sandy beach with shallow waters - ideal for water sports for the ad­ven­tu­rous, and clamshell hunting for the young ones. Among the locals, the beach is actually known as Djursland’s best, and of course it is also Blue Flag-certified. A village at­mosp­he­re and the bliss of Southern Funen is probably what make Faldsled famous and no wonder. In the cobbled streets and alleys of the town, you can see well-preserved half-timbered houses that bear witness of the days before the dawn of time. And this little village is hiding a genuine ga­stro­no­mic gem. This is home to the famous gourmet re­stau­rant, Falsled Kro. The small village is sur­ro­un­ded by open co­un­trysi­de and rolling fields as far as the eye can see. Explore the many scenic routes of the area winding through the co­un­trysi­de and along the coast and get close to the nature of Southern Funen.

On the east coast of Rømø is Kromose, right on the Wadden Sea. Here you can design a wonderful holiday amid some of Denmark’s most beautiful nature. Whether you enjoy quiet holidays in scenic sur­ro­un­dings or lots of acti­vi­ties, Kromose and the sur­ro­un­ding area is the place for you. Rømø is ideal for exploring on foot, by bike or perhaps on horseback, but you can also hop in a kayak or on a surfboard and see the coast from the water.
