The area is divided into Langdal, Søn­der­strand and Landsende and offers lush and rich nature with plan­ta­tions, forests, heathers and dunes. A stone’s throw from here you will find Søn­der­stran­den, one of Rømø’s gems with its wide, desert-like sand surface that invites you to spend wonderful days by the water. On Eastern Funen, you will find the old, charming market town of Nyborg. Nyborg oozes ancient history with its im­pres­si­ve medieval castle, Nyborg Castle, which was establis­hed back in the 13th century. The castle adorns the townscape and is the backdrop for several social events taking place in the town, espe­ci­al­ly in the summer. Here you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the Medieval Festival and a wide range of musicals and theatre per­for­man­ces, among other things. Near the town centre, you will find Nyborg Strand, a popular beach with fine sand and clear water. The beach is a true at­tra­ction for the locals and ho­li­day­ma­kers alike.

On the east coast of Jutland with a view of Kattegat you will find the holiday home area, As Vig. Located at the very edge of Kattegat, As Vig offers several lovely beaches with fine sand and shallow and calm waters. Here you can take a dip in the waves, go kayaking or simply enjoy the views from the coast. It’s entirely up to you. You can also explore the many natural sur­ro­un­dings. Here you will find both forests and nature trails where you can go for long walks or ride a bicycle and ex­pe­ri­en­ce this beautiful part of Denmark. From As Vig, it is less than 10 km to the charming seaport of Ju­els­min­de.
