Stenbjerg

In the middle of Thy National Park, you will find the village of Stenbjerg. Its spectacular dune landscapes and wild moors make Stenbjerg a perfect holiday destination for those who love to go exploring on foot or on a bicycle. Here you can enjoy the wide pristine beaches with room for relaxation and wild surfing adventures by the North Sea. The area is known for its well-preserved fishing villages and the historic Stenbjerg Landingsplads where the fishing boats are hauled up on land as they were before the beginning of time. Stenbjerg features a cosy local environment with artisans and shops where you will find local specialities.

Rudkøbing

Rudkøbing, the largest town on Langeland, is a charming market town with beautiful old houses, cobbled streets and a waterfront constantly bustling with life. When strolling through the streets and alleys of the town, you get the experience of going back in time. But please do not get fooled. Behind the many well-preserved town houses, you will find local shops, restaurants and cafés. When venturing outside the town centre, you will discover that Rudkøbing also has a beautiful nature on offer. Explore the area via one of the many different cycling and hiking routes and experience the nature of Langeland up close.

Hou

On the northern tip of Langeland, you will find Hou. Hou is an extremely quiet area and here you are away from the hectic working day and can just sit back and enjoy the chirping of birds and the roar of the waves. With its coastline and luxuriant nature, Hou is the ideal holiday destination for those looking for nature outings and explorations. Here you can take long walks or jump on a bike and enjoy the fresh air. If you are interested in history, please visit Hou Lighthouse, a true landmark of the area, as it played an important role in ship navigation around the northern tip of the island back in the late 1800s.
Nordjylland_Løkken_Grønhøj

Grønhøj

There is a reason why this popular summer land area is named Grønhøj (Green Hill). The area is surrounded by magnificent green nature in rolling hillscape. From Grønhøj, you have direct access to the nature reserve Lille Norge which is a true paradise for those enjoying longer hikes and exploration of nature. When holidaying in a summer cottage in Grønhøj, you are also really close to the popular sandy beach in the area. Grønhøj beach is popular for its fascinating dune landscape, fine sand and crystal-clear water. That is why the beach is perfect for sunbathing and watersports as well.
