Welcoming holiday homes in Denmark

A stone’s throw from Denmark’s sout­her­n­most point sits Gedesby, which offers authentic village vibes and idyllic scenery. In and around the town you will find beautiful old houses, thatched farm­hou­ses and cosy green landsca­pes. The church, which dates back to the 1300s, is nestled in the centre of the town sur­ro­un­ded by the quaint main street and beautiful old mill. The area plays an important role in Denmark’s history so there is a lot of local folklore and tales to explore. The nature here is fantastic, with plan­ta­tions, hiking trails and forests – and not least Gedesby Beach, which stretches as far as the eye can see.

The cosy town of Arnager is south of Rønne. The town is known for its long, wooden bridge, carefully built to span 188 metres, making it Northern Europe’s longest bridge. At the end of the bridge is an idyllic little harbour erected on poles, with fishers’ houses and colourful boats. Arnager is a gem where you can enjoy stunning beaches and sunsets in pi­c­tu­resque sur­ro­un­dings without anyone bothering you. Boderne is the closest neighbour, and nearby you will also find towns such as Aakirkeby and Rønne. Treat yourself to local food ex­pe­ri­en­ces and spe­ci­a­li­ties when visiting wonderful Bornholm.

Amstrup and Sondrup are two holiday home areas in East Jutland with views of Horsens Fjord. Here you will find natural sur­ro­un­dings with stunning landsca­pes and areas with rolling hills and forests. For example, explore Uldrup Bakker, where several winding trails in the hilly landscape guide your way. From both holiday home areas you are a short distance from Sondrup Strand, a small oasis by Horsens Fjord. The beach has a jetty from which you can go for a dip in the lovely water. You will find that the beach is somewhat hidden, so you can enjoy life com­ple­te­ly un­dis­tur­bed, without all the crowds and noise.
