North of Fre­de­riks­havn, you will find the holiday resort of Bratten. Here you will be close to green sur­ro­un­dings and wonderful beaches. The area is divided into Langdal, Søn­der­strand and Landsende and offers lush and rich nature with plan­ta­tions, forests, heathers and dunes. A stone’s throw from here you will find Søn­der­stran­den, one of Rømø’s gems with its wide, desert-like sand surface that invites you to spend wonderful days by the water. Try, for example, beach sailing, kite buggying or hop on a surfboard. The beach is also perfect for relaxing walks, where you can enjoy the mag­ni­fi­cent view and maybe even spot seals on the coast. Finally, dive into the area’s art scene and visit some of the small galleries and workshops.

The scenic sur­ro­un­dings of Ring­kø­bing Fjord create a par­ti­cu­lar­ly lively at­mosp­he­re, which is perfect for an en­chan­ting stay in a holiday home by the water. Along the fjord, you will find beautiful hiking and cycling routes, cosy re­stau­rants for lunch al fresco, and lots of little rocky coves where you can go fishing. The fjord is also ideal for surfing, sailing or trying out other types of water sports. For the youngest family members, there are several fun and safe play­gro­unds to enjoy and explore.
