Hvidbjerg

Hvidbjerg offers a wonderful beach experience with its impressive ‘mountain’ of fine sand. The large sand dune, after which the area is named, is divided into the Big and Small Dune and offers an unforgettable view of Trelde Næs’ forests and Vejle Fjord. After a day at the beach, local delicacies await at the local café – or you can light up the barbecue at your holiday home. Hvidbjerg is perfectly located for family outings to attractions like Legoland or Givskud Zoo, making it an ideal starting point for a family holiday filled with experiences and fun in Southeast Jutland.

Sejerø

Sejerø is a 12 km long island in Kattegat. The island is known as Kattegat’s sunshine island – and for good reason. Sejerø is one of the sunniest places in Denmark. Here you can experience the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the shoreline. The nature of the island is diverse and offers everything from beautiful sandy beaches and wide-open spaces to rolling hills and fields. Sejerø is especially known for its many burial mounds that date back to the Bronze Age. A total of 30 burial mounds have been discovered on the island, and you can experience them via several footpaths that take you around the landscape.
Bornholm_Aakirkeby

Aakirkeby

The old market town of Aakirkeby is located in the southern part of Bornholm, an ideal location for the island’s beaches. Here, you will find stunning Dueodde with its white, sandy beaches winding as far as the eye can see, but Balka Beach and Boderne also rank among Bornholm’s best beaches. Aakirkeby offers historical buildings, museums, and cultural attractions. If you move towards the middle of the island, you will get to Almindingen, Denmark’s fifth-largest forest. Spend several hours exploring the terrain and the historical and cultural sights here, such as Rytterknægten and Ekkodalen.

Hou

The charming port town of Hou is the perfect holiday destination for those looking for local experiences and surroundings full of nature. Among other things, you can visit the marina where pleasure boats and fishing boats help creating life and atmosphere. It is also from here that you can go on organised sails along the coast or grab the paddle yourself by hiring a kayak. If you want to take in the surroundings full of nature on land, you have various beautiful routes and trails at your disposal in the area to explore. And you decide whether it should be on a bicycle or on foot – or whether will be accompanied by your four-legged friend.
