We know the holiday area

Østjylland_Odderkysten_Mariendal Strand

Mariendal Strand

South of Aarhus you will find the holiday home area, Mariendal Strand. Near the area is the beach, which is surrounded by natural surroundings and has a cosy fire pit. Here you can enjoy views of Aarhus Bay while roasting marshmallows over an open fire with your feet planted in the fine sand. If you like biking, you can cycle towards Aarhus to the forests of Moesgaard and Marselisborg, which stretch all the way down to the coast. And when visiting this area, you might want to visit the Moesgaard Museum, which has several exhibitions of archaeological finds, including the Grauballe Man, who - probably - is the world’s most well-preserved bog body.
Bork Havn By

Bork Havn

Bork Havn is a small jewel at the bottom of Ringkøbing Fjord. The fjord creates a very special and lively environment, which makes it the perfect setting for a cosy stay in a holiday home. The beach is calm and child-friendly, so you can relax and let your youngest family members explore. If you love the water, you can go kite or wind surfing in the fjord, then refuel with a delicious regional speciality at one of the local restaurants or just soak up the sun at the Bork Havn Music Festival. The Viking theme can be experienced all around the village and harbour, so you can explore to your heart’s content and take a deep dive into the history of Denmark.

Dueodde

Wonderful Dueodde is located on the southern tip of the island and is famous for its stunning beach. Immerse yourself in the dune landscapes and white sand as far as the eye can see. The wide, sandy beach is ideal for pleasant days by the water with beach games, sunbathing, and swimming. The area offers plenty of lovely trails that you can enjoy by bike or on foot through conifer plantations, forest areas, and dune landscapes and past the old lighthouse, where you can enjoy breathtaking views. For adventurous individuals, there are plenty of options to try different types of water sports.

Allinge

On the north coast, the landscape is dramatic, and the views are breathtaking—Allinge is no exception. The town borders the fascinating area around Hammeren, offering some of Denmark’s most spectacular natural environments. Allinge harbour is a gathering point with a great atmosphere offering cafés, ice cream shops, eateries, and shops. The town is characterised by half-timbered houses in every colour, narrow streets, and cosy squares. You can explore small, cosy oases. Allinge also offers art and culture in various forms and is home to venues, creative workshops, and the annual jazz festival.
