Havnsø is a seaport on Northwest Zealand. Here you can enjoy life on the beach, which, with its low water, is perfect for water play for people of all ages. Just under 5 km from Havnsø you will find the protected natural area of Eskebjerg Ve­ster­lyng. Known as Zealand’s largest heath, the natural area offers rolling landsca­pes with beaches, dunes and shrubs – and, with any luck, you might also see free-range cattle and horses. From Havnsø you can also enjoy the view of Nekselø Bay, and if you look carefully, you can see Nekselø and Sejerø in the distance. Both islands can be reached by ferry from Havnsø.

Just 15 km south of Aarhus you will find Ajstrup Strand, a natural holiday area near water and natural sur­ro­un­dings. The fine sandy beach in the area is a haven for ho­li­day­ma­kers and locals every summer. Here you will find fine sand, clear water and safe swimming. For these reasons, the beach has been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, which proudly sways in the wind. Close to the area is Norsminde Havn, an extremely charming marina where you can stroll along the pier, enjoy the sight of small fishing boats and visit one of the many cosy eateries. You can get from Ajstrup Strand to Odder in under 20 minutes by car.

Charming Rødvig offers a wonderful holiday home break with specta­cu­lar Stevns Klint as your neighbour. You can easily spend hours at the foot of the gar­gan­tu­an white chalk walls. And the cliff is just as beautiful from the top, offering bre­ath­taking views. Rødvig buzzes with life and acti­vi­ties, and the harbour is no exception. Stroll along the pier and visit the cosy re­stau­rants and cafes, which offer freshly caught fish and local produce. You will also find local museums, hi­sto­ri­cal buildings and cultural acti­vi­ties that reveal the history and di­stin­cti­ve­ness of the area.
