On the southern part of Ærø, you will find the small village of Dunkær. Here you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce quiet nature and real rural bliss. Just 4 km from the village, you have Risemark Strand on the southern coast of Ærø for you to enjoy a sandy beach and lapping waves. The beach is extremely child-friendly with its shallow water and it should be noted that the beach has a de­sig­na­ted area for naturists.

Helnæs is a genuine little gem in the South Funen Ar­chipela­go. The peninsula is connected to the mainland via a natural dam and it is close to both the port town of Assens and the market town of Faaborg. When driving across the dam to the small peninsula, you will feel embraced by the out­stan­ding nature. This is where you will find Bro­bak­ker­ne, a large em­bank­ment formed back in the Ice Age and in summer, it is covered with the finest summer flowers. You can also ex­pe­ri­en­ce the specta­cu­lar nature from the water. Jump in a kayak and explore the Little Belt.

You are always gu­a­ran­te­ed fresh sea air when you spend your holiday in Norsminde. The small fishing village is close to Norsminde Fjord and the marina, hence you have idyllic coastal life up close. Espe­ci­al­ly during the summer the harbour is bustling with life! Here you can buy fresh fish, try out various local de­li­ca­cies and enjoy musical en­tertain­ment right in the middle of the pier. Around Norsminde you will find several natural areas with establis­hed paths and trails that you can explore on foot or by bike.
