Tåsinge is located in the South Funen Ar­chipela­go and is connected to Funen via Svend­borgs­und­bro­en (Svendborg Sound Bridge). On Tåsinge, you can enjoy the beautiful nature of Southern Funen, seaviews and luxuriant woodlands where the trails guide you on your expl­ora­tions of the wildlife and flora of the area. On the southern part of Tåsinge, you have the summer land area of Stenodden. Here times appear to stand still and the quietude is only in­ter­rup­ted by the croaking of the European fire-bellied toads in the distance. The beach town of Stampen is located south of Bornholm’s “capital”. A summer break in a holiday home here is packed with options. Rønne Harbour offers a wealth of different water sports for ad­ven­tu­rers to try. There is also a golf club nearby, so there is ample op­portu­ni­ty for an active holiday.

Just a stone’s throw from Løkken, you will find Furreby and from here, you have the most beautiful views of the roaring waves and dune landsca­pes of the North Sea. If you are a history buff, this is the place to explore in order to learn more about the World War II. Along the coast, you can find a number of overgrown bunkers that bear witness to the hi­sto­ri­cal past of the area. And if adventure and the need for speed are more your thing, you can also jump in the water with a surf- or pad­dle­bo­ard. The area is also perfect for cycling and hiking trips in the sur­ro­un­ding co­un­trysi­de where you can get up close and personal with the beautiful green nature.

North of Kolding, where the Little Belt narrows and bridges connect Jutland and Funen, you will find Fre­de­ri­cia. A historic hub with plenty of cultural offerings. The city’s signature at­tra­ction, Fre­de­ri­cia Rampart, is among Europe’s largest preserved fortres­ses and offers fa­sci­nat­ing city walks that bring the city’s military history to life. Go whale watching on the Little Belt or visit the Mads­by­par­ken park with the family – a free excursion spot with lots of fun and play. In the city centre a lively pe­de­stri­an street awaits with shopping options ranging from local spe­ci­a­li­ties to in­ter­na­tio­nal shops.
