Ærøs­kø­bing is known as the pearl of Ærø and it is one of the best preserved market towns in Denmark. Charming Snogebæk is south of Balka, with shops, eateries, a smo­ke­hou­se, and a cosy harbour setting. Heading north, you’ll encounter one of the island’s towns, Nexø, where you’ll find historic buildings, museums, cultural landmarks, local arts and crafts, and more.
