Røsnæs

Røsnæs is a 5 km long peninsula located on the west coast of Zealand. It is surrounded by fascinating landscapes of open coasts, rolling hilltops and dense forests. You can hike the coastal paths, enjoy the sea views and explore nearby forest areas. Don’t forget to visit Røsnæs Lighthouse for panoramic views of land and water. You can also learn more about the history of the area on this small peninsula. Stop by the old, well-preserved mill, Ulstrup Mill, or discover Røsnæs Church, which is located on a hilltop overlooking Kalundborg Fjord.

Furreby

Just a stone’s throw from Løkken, you will find Furreby and from here, you have the most beautiful views of the roaring waves and dune landscapes of the North Sea. If you are a history buff, this is the place to explore in order to learn more about the World War II. Along the coast, you can find a number of overgrown bunkers that bear witness to the historical past of the area. And if adventure and the need for speed are more your thing, you can also jump in the water with a surf- or paddleboard. The area is also perfect for cycling and hiking trips in the surrounding countryside where you can get up close and personal with the beautiful green nature.
