On the east coast of Northern Jutland, you will find the village of Hel­ber­skov. The little village is espe­ci­al­ly charming due to its old half-timbered houses and idyllic village at­mosp­he­re. A village at­mosp­he­re and the bliss of Southern Funen is probably what make Faldsled famous and no wonder. In the cobbled streets and alleys of the town, you can see well-preserved half-timbered houses that bear witness of the days before the dawn of time. And this little village is hiding a genuine ga­stro­no­mic gem. This is home to the famous gourmet re­stau­rant, Falsled Kro. The small village is sur­ro­un­ded by open co­un­trysi­de and rolling fields as far as the eye can see. Explore the many scenic routes of the area winding through the co­un­trysi­de and along the coast and get close to the nature of Southern Funen.

On the east-facing side of Rømø is cosy Lakolk, which is the oldest holiday home area on the island. Here you will find an at­mosp­he­ric urban en­viron­ment with cafes, shops, galleries and much more. Settle down in one of the eateries for a taste of Rømø or visit one of the specialty shops where you can buy local de­li­ca­cies. Lakolk is located close to Rømø Bilstrand, where you can take the car all the way down to the water's edge. This way, you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the entire mile-long coastline, in­cre­dib­le plains and beautiful views. Finally, the area is ideal for biking – and hiking, or you can explore it on horseback or surfboard.

Spend your holiday home break in the tranqui­li­ty of the forest under the forest canopy in Ulvshale Skov. This lush, dense area is untouched, with only the paths cleared for hiking. This means that nature and wildlife are wild and secluded, so you might get lucky and see rare birds and other animals, or ex­pe­ri­en­ce wild orchids and specta­cu­lar coastal en­viron­ments close by. A stone’s throw away is Ulvshale Strand, one of Møn’s best beaches. The cosy little island of Nyord is just off the coast and is de­fi­ni­te­ly worth a visit, while Møns Klint is not far.
