Pøt Strandby is a holiday home area on the east coast of Jutland with views of Kattegat. The area offers the most beautiful beach with white sand and calm, shallow waters and lush forest areas. With its fine swimming con­di­tions, the beach is extremely child-friendly and perfect for playing in the water, clamshell hunting as well as making sand castles under clear blue skies. You can also explore local wildlife in the area’s many forest areas with both bicycling and hiking trails. Pøt Strandby is located close to Ju­els­min­de and Horsens, where you will find several different shopping op­portu­ni­ties, cosy cafes and cultural at­tra­ctions.

You are always gu­a­ran­te­ed fresh sea air when you spend your holiday in Norsminde. The small fishing village is close to Norsminde Fjord and the marina, hence you have idyllic coastal life up close. Espe­ci­al­ly during the summer the harbour is bustling with life! Here you can buy fresh fish, try out various local de­li­ca­cies and enjoy musical en­tertain­ment right in the middle of the pier. Around Norsminde you will find several natural areas with establis­hed paths and trails that you can explore on foot or by bike. In these sur­ro­un­dings, you can enjoy a quiet moment over­look­ing the water.

Hasle is located on the west coast with a large harbour. The harbour buzzes with life, perfect for strolls along the pier. The town’s smo­ke­hou­se is next to the harbour. This is not just any smo­ke­hou­se but the last one left on Bornholm, where the smoking takes place in the tra­di­tio­nal, old-fashioned way using alder firewood in open chimneys. In the centre of Hasle, you will find a cultural house where you can see exhi­bi­tions, local arts and crafts, and more. Hasle also offers lovely beaches, an activity park, good play­gro­unds, re­stau­rants, cafés, and some of the island’s most beautiful sunsets.

Off the east coast of Jutland you will find the islands of Tunø, Endelave and Hjarnø. Tunø and Endelave are known for their scenic sur­ro­un­dings with hiking trails that guide you through varied terrain with dense forests, open landsca­pes and coast­li­nes as far as the eye can see. Here you can explore the local plant and wildlife. Hjarnø is closer to the mainland and is a testament to the Viking Age, when the island was once home to the old Nordic seafarers. On these islands, you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce a true island vibe with lovely beaches, sea views from all sides and - not least - a welcoming community.
