In the middle of the Eastern Funen, you will find the small town of Marslev oozing genuine village bliss. The area is sur­ro­un­ded by luxuriant fields, small forests and open co­un­trysi­de. Løgstør, the city of mussels, with its tranqui­li­ty and natural beauty, offers a unique maritime at­mosp­he­re and is the centre of cultural hig­hlights such as KanalJazz, which brings music, festi­vi­ties and community to the harbour. Famous for its mussels, the city is host to The Harvest of Mussels Festival and the Mussels Festival, which kick-start this year’s festi­vi­ties. You can also try out a seal safari from Livø­fer­gen, relax on the car-free island of Livø, or if you want to shop, visit Løgstør, which is a short 10-minute drive from the holiday homes at Lendrup and Rønbjerg. The area is also a mecca for golfers with many golf courses within a short distance.

Pøt Strandby is a holiday home area on the east coast of Jutland with views of Kattegat. The area offers the most beautiful beach with white sand and calm, shallow waters and lush forest areas. With its fine swimming con­di­tions, the beach is extremely child-friendly and perfect for playing in the water, clamshell hunting as well as making sand castles under clear blue skies. You can also explore local wildlife in the area’s many forest areas with both bicycling and hiking trails. Pøt Strandby is located close to Ju­els­min­de and Horsens, where you will find several different shopping op­portu­ni­ties, cosy cafes and cultural at­tra­ctions.
