At the edge of the North Sea is Vedersø Klit, a beautiful gem where nature, culture and history meet. Just 15 km south of Aarhus you will find Ajstrup Strand, a natural holiday area near water and natural sur­ro­un­dings. The fine sandy beach in the area is a haven for ho­li­day­ma­kers and locals every summer. Here you will find fine sand, clear water and safe swimming. For these reasons, the beach has been awarded Blue Flag-cer­ti­fi­ca­tion, which proudly sways in the wind. Close to the area is Norsminde Havn, an extremely charming marina where you can stroll along the pier, enjoy the sight of small fishing boats and visit one of the many cosy eateries. You can get from Ajstrup Strand to Odder in under 20 minutes by car.

On scenic Nord­fal­ster, close to the old market town of Stub­be­kø­bing, sits the quaint town of Kongsnæs. Here, your holiday awaits in calm sur­ro­un­dings with plenty of nature and beautiful landsca­pes. From here you can look over at Bogø and Møn, and in clear weather you can see several of the area’s charming small islands. The quiet waters that separate the islands create a cosy fjord-like en­viron­ment with calm waters, lovely beaches, bays and idyllic little nooks. There are great op­portu­ni­ties for walking and cycling around the scenic landscape, and you’ll find marked hiking trails to guide you around and reveal beautiful views.
