Spend your holiday home break in the tranqui­li­ty of the forest under the forest canopy in Ulvshale Skov. This lush, dense area is untouched, with only the paths cleared for hiking. This means that nature and wildlife are wild and secluded, so you might get lucky and see rare birds and other animals, or ex­pe­ri­en­ce wild orchids and specta­cu­lar coastal en­viron­ments close by. A stone’s throw away is Ulvshale Strand, one of Møn’s best beaches. The cosy little island of Nyord is just off the coast and is de­fi­ni­te­ly worth a visit, while Møns Klint is not far.

Northern Funen is home to the oldest market town on Funen, Bogense, offering the best views of the Kattegat. In the charming town centre, you will find small, well-preserved houses scattered around in the old, narrow and winding streets. Here you can see the historic Sankt Nikolaj Church and enjoy the lovely merchant square where you can ex­pe­ri­en­ce the weekly market day with flower, fruit and vegetable stalls. Bogense also features various specialty shops and re­stau­rants. Do not miss out on a trip past the harbour that is con­stant­ly buzzing with life and a meeting place for townspe­op­le and ho­li­day­ma­kers.

Tommerup is a lovely railway town located in the heart of Funen. Here you can enjoy the sight of green hillsca­pes – and you can even gambol on them yourself. The area is perfect for hiking and cycling trips where you can explore the scenic trails in the area leading to luxuriant forests and sur­ro­un­dings full of nature. The lovely railway town is not far from Odense city centre so you have all the at­tra­ctions and cultural gems of the city within easy reach. Here you can visit H.C. Andersen’s childhood home, go on a shopping trip og treat yourself to a ga­stro­no­mi­cal ex­pe­ri­en­ce.
