Rudkøbing, the largest town on Langeland, is a charming market town with beautiful old houses, cobbled streets and a wa­ter­front con­stant­ly bustling with life. When strolling through the streets and alleys of the town, you get the ex­pe­ri­en­ce of going back in time. But please do not get fooled. Behind the many well-preserved town houses, you will find local shops, re­stau­rants and cafés. When venturing outside the town centre, you will discover that Rudkøbing also has a beautiful nature on offer. Explore the area via one of the many different cycling and hiking routes and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the nature of Langeland up close.

Just a stone’s throw from Løkken, you will find Furreby and from here, you have the most beautiful views of the roaring waves and dune landsca­pes of the North Sea. If you are a history buff, this is the place to explore in order to learn more about the World War II. Along the coast, you can find a number of overgrown bunkers that bear witness to the hi­sto­ri­cal past of the area.
